Jacques Rueff - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia "Jacques Rueff (1896 - 1978) was a French economist and adviser to the French Government. Rueff was born the son of a physician and studied science and mathematics at the École Polytechnique. He was in favour of European economic union and served from 1962 to 1974 on the European Community Economic and Social Affairs Council.
