David Bergland - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
"David P. Bergland is an American libertarian activist. He was the presidential nominee of the Libertarian Party in 1984 and its vice-presidential nominee in 1976 (sharing the ticket with Roger MacBride), as well as the party's national chair from 1977 to 1981 and from 1998 to 2000. A resident of California and a lawyer, Bergland has also run unsuccessfully for California Attorney General (1974, write-in), the California state senate (1978), and United States Senate (1980), and managed the 2000 Libertarian presidential campaign of Harry Browne. He is the author of the book Libertarianism in One Lesson (ISBN 0-9754326-4-8). ..."
